Product care

I make my products to stand the test of time. These jesses are ready to be put to work. However, you can give your jesses some extra TLC by:

  • Wiping any dirt from the surface of the leather with a damp cloth.
  • Buffing out small scruffs or scratches from wear using a cotton cloth. This brings the natural oils to the surface of the leather.
  • Feeding the leather with Original Sedgwick Leathercare to protect and replenish the natural oils in the hide. Please note that this product will slightly darken the colour of the leather.

More information

An essential bit of kit that makes life easier when heading to the field.

Fit these to your anklets and leave them on all season. They’re thin enough to use alongside mews jesses, so when it’s time to fly, just remove the mews jesses - and you’re ready to go.

If you're free-lofting, there's no need to change anything at all. You're ready to fly, all the time.

Crafted from the finest materials

Falconry is a demanding sport, not only on the bird, but also on the equipment. That's why I use the best leathers I can find, from around the world.

We make our falconry jesses from tough leathers that perform well in the demanding conditions that we all know as normal, in the falconry field.

Real World Use

These permanent flying jesses are made from strong leather and feature a reinforced double-thickness tab for a secure anchor point.

They’re supplied in one standard size - just trim to suit your bird (if needs be). Ideal for birds from tiercel Peregrines to Ferruginous hawks.

Once you've used them, you'll never look back. Don’t just take my word for it - read what falconers say.

Made in England

What we make is shaped by our understanding of the outdoors, materials, and real-world falconry.

Proudly made in England - every item we sell is our own work, built in our own workshop without compromise.

If we don't make it, we don't sell it.
