The Traditional Falconry Bag Returns 

The origins of our Traditional Falconry Bag go back more than 30 years, to a bag my father used when I was a child.

That original bag helped shape the design we went on to make for ourselves. Over the years, we've made a few thoughtful improvements, but the thinking behind it has remained much the same: a practical, hard-wearing bag designed around the needs of a falconer in the field.

Made from soft, durable leather, our Traditional Falconry Bags are available in two sizes, both featuring multiple compartments, removable waterproof food pouches and a fully adjustable shoulder strap.

After a three-year break, we're pleased to be making them again. For this first run, we're offering just 10 Small and 10 Large bags before Christmas.

Designed for the field

Our Traditional Falconry Bags have been developed around the practical needs of falconers.

The double-sided design provides five pockets for organising essential equipment, including dedicated spaces for jesses, telemetry and smaller items.

Two removable waterproof food pouches can be taken out for cleaning after use.

The updated design also features a fully adjustable, removable shoulder strap that sits flatter across the body, along with externally bound leather edges for a stronger, neater finish.

Every bag is made in our Lincolnshire workshop using carefully selected leather and solid brass fittings.

 Which size should I choose?

Both bags share the same design and features. The main difference is their carrying capacity.

The Small Traditional Falconry Bag measures 28 × 28 × 11 cm and is ideal for falconers who prefer a more compact bag, fly to the lure or hunt small quarry.

The Large Traditional Falconry Bag measures 37 × 37 × 13 cm and offers additional room for those who carry more equipment in the field.

What is the difference between the Small and Large bags?

Both bags feature the same design, pockets, removable food pouches and adjustable shoulder strap. The Large offers additional carrying capacity, while the Small provides a more compact alternative.

Are the food pouches removable?

Yes. Each bag includes two removable waterproof food pouches that can be taken out for cleaning.

Can the shoulder strap be adjusted?

Yes. The shoulder strap is fully adjustable and removable. The updated design also allows the strap to sit flatter across the body for more comfortable carrying.

Where are the bags made?

Each Traditional Falconry Bag is made here in our Lincolnshire workshop in England.

Are the bags available all year round?

We're initially offering the Traditional Falconry Bags in limited production batches. Availability may vary depending on our workshop schedule.
