A full-length double thickness falconry glove in heavyweight deerskin, made for larger hawks and falcons. Approx. 12" long.

Handmade in the workshop. Usually dispatched in 2 to 4 weeks.

Two layers of heavy duty deerskin where it matters most.

Approx. 12" long for birds with a wider stance, and more power in the feet.

Sizing

Measure around the widest part of your palm, as shown in the sizing guide.

The number in brackets is your hand measurement in inches:

Small — 8"
Medium — 9"
Large — 10"
Extra Large — 11"

Care

Deerskin is a natural material and will wear in with use. Most of the time, it only needs a light wipe with a damp cloth to remove excess dirt or bird food.

If the surface starts to look dry, a small amount of leather care can be worked in with a soft cloth. Do not overdo it. A little is enough.

One of the most important things is to remove excess food after use, as this will help prevent the leather from hardening over time.

This double-thickness glove is designed for falconers flying larger hawks or falcons, offering the extra protection needed for birds with a wider stance, and more power in the feet.

The double thickness construction adds more protection to the hand, and the full-length pattern gives more cover on the arm where it is needed.

Suitable for large falcons, hawks and similar birds.

Measure (in inches) around the widest part of your palm, as shown. Use that measurement to choose the nearest size from the options above.

Made for real falconry use

A falconry glove has to do more than look the part. It needs to give real protection, feel right on the hand, and stand up to regular use in the field.

We use heavyweight deerskin for this glove because it offers enough protection but is still supple enough to allow free movement.

Years of flying birds of prey have shaped how these gloves are made, from the pattern and thickness through to the feel on the hand
