We use the same heavyweight deerskin as our other falconry gloves. It is supple enough to let you move your hand freely. Inside, Merino sheepskin covers the hand, fingers and thumb for warmth throughout the glove.
Approx. 12" long for birds with a wider stance, and more power in the feet.

Care
Care
Deerskin is a natural material and will wear in with use. Most of the time, it only needs a light wipe with a damp cloth to remove excess dirt or bird food.
If the surface starts to look dry, a small amount of leather care can be worked in with a soft cloth. Do not overdo it. A little is enough.
One of the most important things is to remove excess food after use, as this will help prevent the leather from hardening over time.

Our warmest glove to date.
This is our double thickness falconry glove made in deerskin and sheepskin. The warmer option to our regular double thickness glove.
We use the same heavyweight deerskin as our other gloves for the overlay. It is supple enough to let you move your hand freely when handling your bird and equipment.

Merino Sheepskin
Merino wool has long been valued for its fine fibres and softness. People have used wool to keep warm for thousands of years, so it was a natural choice for our first dedicated winter glove.
Heavyweight deerskin forms the overlay, while Merino sheepskin covers the whole hand, including the fingers and thumb. Together, they give you a warmer option for those crisp winter mornings.
